Native to southern India and Sri Lanka, the Totapuri is known for its distinct shape and the name literally translates to parrot beak. This mango has a piquant flavour, something different from the other sweet varieties of mangoes available. It is most popularly used in processed mango products. All mangoes are best stored in their packaging until ripe. Once ripe, remove them from the packaging and store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate if required before consuming.
