The Mangosteen is an exotic tropical fruit native to Thailand. Its delicious sweet and sour flavour is one that hits the spot. Opening the mangosteen is something easy once you understand the technique. One hand has to be placed on top of the fruit and one at the bottom, and enough pressure needs to be applied for the fruit to press open. Once open the beautiful flesh can be scooped out with a spoon and eaten. Store for a short time at room temperature only.
